David Westmoreland comes from a family of musicians. His father was a singing cowboy in the 40's & 50's, while his mother pursued her own career as a professional singer. David began playing the saxophone at a very early age and from there moved on to the piano. David was fortunate to become involved in the family business, starring on the main stage of the "Detour Inn" from the age of 18. From there David hit the Reno, Tahoe, Vegas club circuit giving him a solid foundation for performance and entertaining. In 1984 David was also fortunate to find himself on the stage of "The Grand Ole Opry" in Nashville representing California's winners of the Wrangler Jeans and Dodge Trucks talent competition with his original act, California Gold. He opened concerts for the Brothers Johnson, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Johnny Paycheck, Marshall Tucker Band, Sawyer Brown, Darryl Worley, Greg Kihn, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Shirelles and Sam Moore of Sam and Dave. David is also credited with writing the theme song for the movie Krisi and the Legend of Mt. Shasta.

Phil Robinson settled in Boise in the early ‘90’s after touring the West Coast for two and a half years. Phil plays drums and sings. He can play Country, Rock, Blues, Motown and music of all genres. Phil is quite accomplished in his drumming skills and vocals. He has opened for such acts as "Big and Rich" and "Diamond Rio". You cant help but dance when Phil lays down the beat, keeping it steady and groovin'.

Lisa Florenzen is a wonderful part of "JoyRide". She sings a wide variety of songs from all genres with a wonderful and soulful voice. From Etta James to Susan Tedeschi, Aretha Franklin, Faith Hill and others. She adds a glow to the stage and has a great sense of humor.

Lisa has been performing since (according to her mother) she was a tot.

Her vocal chops didn't start taking form until her late teens, and by the early 90's she was fronting various cover and original bands in the California Bay Area playing in countryclubs, corporate events, and various festivals.

A move to Idaho led her to seek out other musicians and expand her songwriting in original rock group "Intersanctum"

and the duo The Angles. Though previously in cover group Fallout, Lisa's strong, melodic vocals can now be heard in "JoyRide".

Wes Kelley has been playing bass guitar and singing since the age of 11. Wes started playing professionally at the age of 13, playing bass & singing in bands. With over 20 years of experience, Wes has played in various cover bands and original music bands while living in Portland OR, Albany NY and Boise ID. Wes is proud to be a member of JoyRide as the bass player, backup singer and showman.

In addition to playing bass, and to extend his musical horizons, Wes is an acoustic singer-songwriter. One of Wes’ songs, “Sometimes,” was included on a nationally distributed CD called Chill Out – An Acoustic Compilation. The CD features acoustic songwriters from around the country.

Chris Murray started his musical career on the trumpet at the age of eight. Moving to the trombone, then to the bass guitar, finally settling on the electric guitar by the age of 13. By 17, Chris found himself playing in cover bands in the Northwest and then relocating to the Reno area apply himself to playing clubs and casinos. Chris also played also in the Bay Area club scene during the 80’s. Playing in popular bands in Boise, since the 1990’s, Chris has further developed his entertainment skills.

Influenced by players like Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson and Jeff Beck, Chris still takes the guitar to new places that touch listeners.

Kirk Robbins is experienced in live Audio Mixing and sound Reinforcement as well as Production Management and Tour Management. Kirk has also had the opportunity of mixing touring sound for such people as; Johnny Mathis, Andy Williams, Henry Mancini, Michael LeGrand, Frank Sinatra (Senior & Junior), Debbie Reynolds and Jay Leno to mention a few. Prior to working for Johnny Mathis, Kirk worked at Sahara Tahoe doing sound for headliners in the High Sierra Room. After leaving the Air Force he was a member of a five man lounge act having appeared in night clubs and lounges all over the US and Canada including Las Vegas, Tahoe, etc. Kirk is a people person and enjoys working with and relating to fellow workers and the public.
